Nisser (Gnomes)

In Scandinavian folklore, a NISSE is a little house gnome who guards home and hearth, but can be quite mischievous if not treated well. He is a character in folklore and children’s stories all year round.

Here you have a Sisters interpretation, in homage to a Norwegian childhood. Each Nisse is individually sculpted from porcelain, hand painted, and then equipped with a tuft of sheep’s wool at each ear.
